Our Story
Built on Kindness, Rooted in Care
Lunar Drift was founded with one purpose: to give elderly residents a place where they feel safe, valued, and genuinely at home.
Back to HomeWho We Are
The Lunar Drift Story
Lunar Drift began in 2014 as a small care home in Bangkok's Wang Thonglang district, founded by a group of Thai healthcare professionals and social workers who saw a growing need for elderly care that went beyond clinical routines. They wanted to create an environment that felt like a garden retreat — open, calm, and full of natural light — rather than a hospital ward.
Over the years, the residence expanded its approach. Drawing on both Thai wellness traditions and contemporary care practices, the team developed programs that address the whole person — body, mind, and social life. Morning meditation sessions in the garden pavilion, afternoon music circles, and shared meals prepared from fresh market ingredients became part of the daily rhythm.
Today, Lunar Drift serves families across Bangkok and surrounding provinces. Some come seeking long-term residential care for an aging parent. Others need guidance on making a home safer and more comfortable. And for families navigating the final stages of a loved one's life, we provide a space of deep compassion and quiet dignity.
What hasn't changed since the beginning is the core belief that every person, at every age, deserves to be treated with patience, warmth, and genuine respect. That belief shapes everything we do — from the way staff greet residents each morning to the way we design our garden spaces for easy, peaceful movement.
Our Guiding Values
These values are not abstract principles — they are the daily habits and decisions that shape life at Lunar Drift.
Compassion First
Every interaction is an opportunity to show care. Staff are trained to listen before acting, to ask before assuming, and to treat each resident as they would their own family.
Living Naturally
Our programs are built around natural rhythms — morning light, fresh food, gentle movement, and unhurried conversation. We follow the seasons, not the clock.
Dignity Always
Aging is not a problem to solve — it is a stage of life to be honoured. We ensure that every resident retains their autonomy, their preferences, and their voice.

Elderly Care with Heart and Expertise
Choosing a residence for an elderly family member is one of the most personal decisions a family can face. At Lunar Drift, we understand that this decision carries deep emotional weight, and we approach every conversation with patience and openness. Our residential care programs are designed not just to meet practical needs but to nurture the wellbeing of each individual in our care.
Located in Bangkok's Wang Thonglang area, our residence is surrounded by green spaces and designed with an open pavilion layout that encourages gentle movement and natural light. The architecture draws from traditional Thai garden design — airy corridors, shaded gathering spots, and flowering pathways that change with the seasons.
We believe that good elderly care is built on relationships. Our staff take the time to learn about each resident's life story, their preferences, and their daily rhythms. This knowledge shapes the kind of care they receive — not a one-size-fits-all routine, but a thoughtful, evolving plan that honours who they are.
